CAF offers grants for individuals with a variety of disabilities, for adaptive equipment (sports chairs) and also for travel and equipment repair/parts.
High Fives offer grants for adaptive equipment for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
Variety KC is a local non-profit for children with disabilities. Many of our youth athletes get there custom made sports wheelchairs from Variety KC
Kelly Brush offers grants for adaptive equipment for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
Local Disability Resources
DBNR's mission is to empower and inspire individuals with disabilities to overcome challenges and reach their potential by fostering a mindset of courage, confidence, and competence.
GKCSCIA is the local chapter of the Spinal Cord Injury Association. They offer in person meetings every other month that are fun and engaging.
